The Boxtop 30 is a hand-wired 30 watt, 4xEL84 instrument amp head in a beautifully crafted Baltic birch cabinet. Only two will be made, making this a very special heirloom-grade workhorse. The amp features a toroidal power transformer, heavy duty aluminum chassis, turretboard wiring, top quality components, and extremely solid construction. Classic architecture and controls result in a beefed-up, simplified version of a certain classic Britsh combo, but with higher reliabilty and longer tube life. Controls layout, voicing from Beatles to Queen, and other design details (cabinet finish, knob type, special tubes, etc.) can be tailored to the purchaser's requirements.

Your amp's target delivery date will be emailed to you within 7 days.

    • Purchase a Reservation Certificate of $950 to secure your order.

    • The purchaser is notified of the target delivery date within seven days of submitting the order. Components procurement, product assembly, configuration, testing and packaging take from a few to several weeks for full completion.

    • The order balance is due when the order is ready to ship (notification sent via email). We will also send a single-use discount coupon code for the value of the Reservation Deposit so you can complete your purchase online.

    • The basic shipping cost is included in the price. Any customs brokerage fees, duties, taxes etc. levied by the destination country or region are the purchaser’s responsibility.

    • If the purchaser is dissatisfied with an Auburn product for any reason, they may return the product within 30 days for a full refund. The unit must be in new, undamaged condition and in its undamaged original packaging to be eligible for the full refund, which is paid when the unit is received and has been inspected for damage. The purchaser is responsible for the shipping and related costs of returning the product to Auburn Amplifiers.

    • A three-year transferable warranty is offered on all products (six months on tubes). This warranty covers components and assemblies that fail under normal use or due to faulty workmanship. Product repairs and component replacements are handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Auburn Amplifiers, and are typically based on the most expedient way of returning the unit to active duty.  

    • Because each unit is unique, there is a 15% component restocking fee for order cancellations that are made before the product has been shipped.
